While in Charleston we took a day to go out to Fort Sumter, where the Civil War started. The ferry left from Patriot's Point. We got to see a surface to air missile, which is suspiciously close to the size of an aircraft itself.
We also saw an aircraft carrier, it wasn't a helicarrier like the avengers have but it was still pretty cool. We had our own little avengers team, led by the batbaby, who were glad to see their mobile base.
This is one of the few shots from the ferry ride in which the ol' batbaby is looking at us instead of out over the open ocean toward adventure and the aircraft carrier.
