Decatur Book Festival

I went to the Decatur Book Festival. It was fun to spend the day outside and get some delicious snacks on the square. I watched a demonstration on bread making by someone publishing a cookbook. There was a draw off between two illustrators. They drew ridiculous pictures requested by the audience and then the audience voted on which of the two pictures was best. The best of the series was probably the demon hamsters. I also went to presentations by Mac Barnett, Sharon Creech, and Nathan Hale.
