We had the yearly Graduate Division Awards Banquet. The grad school rents out a fancy golf club and treats all the students to a nice dinner. It is fun to go every year dress up and acknowledge the accomplishments of other grad students. This year lots of students from my program got awards. The professor I have been working with in Human Physiology nominated me for the award career teaching award and I got it. It came with a nice plaque and a little gift card. I got to celebrate with my advisers and my friends in the program. It was a pretty exciting night.
