After waiting and dreaming, we have made a trip to the magical world of diggerland. Jace asked if we were there from the moment they picked me up at the airport and once we parked he made a beeline strait for the front gates. 
He wore his construction worker Halloween costume so he fit right in with the big machines.
We saw lots of big trucks.
And got to ride lots of big trucks.
One of the favorites was the excavator. It was fun to get to dig up dirt, though it is trickier than it looks.
Probably Jace's absolute favorite was the excavator carosel. He rode it about 6 times in a row. 
Kelley's favorite was the big person carosel. Apparently, it has quite a bit of oomph to it. 
Claire didn't really care about the trucks but liked wearing the construction hat. 
I liked that everyone got a turn riding the steamroller.
Best. Trip. Ever. It looks like the perfect family reunion location! Maybe we should just check into buying a franchise and opening one out west. Brilliant idea!
