We got in to Nashville (headquarters of country music) and headed strait to Broadway to hear some good music. There was a lot of music to be heard and we only got a very little taste. Over the two nights we were there we tried out many different venues and heard probably close to 10 bands. We got to do some line dancing in Wild Horse Saloon and even met some of the wild horses. All of the bands we heard were very talented and performed music ranging from solid country to classic rock to more new agey. One of the funnest parts was the way they would adapt existing songs to fit their style for example Devil went Down to Georgia on electric guitars with a more Rock-n-Roll feel. Many of them in addition to being very talented musicians were also entertaining performers. We decided if we ever go back we want to try and see what the craziest request is we can get a band to perform. I think Yellow Submarine is good bar to shoot for.
We didn't spend all our time on Broadway listening to music we also stopped in at the candy store and got some ice cream and watched them make candies. As we were leaving Broadway the first night we got caught in a giant rainstorm. We got very very very wet.
