Halloween is the shortening of All Hallows Eve. The night before All Saints' Day a day to venerate all the holy saints. Following the commonly subscribed to idea that an equal or greater measure of evil proceeds something good All Hallows Eve was thought to be fraught with dangers of demons stalking the night. People would carve scary faces into vegetables (which are scary in their own right) to frighten away the demons from their homes. So on this dark night full of danger what is needed is something that even the danger fears. Something to keep the danger in its place. The answer to the dark night is indeed the Dark Knight.Pushing the frontiers of mischief in Science, Entertainment, and the South East
