There is a lot of really cool glassware in science. Sometimes when I am looking through our glass cabinet it makes me sad that I never tried to get the job in undergrad in the chemistry glass shop. Not only would it be useful if ever trapped on a desert island, it also looks like fun to make little glass twirls inside large glass twirls. Sadly sometimes glassware gets damaged and has to be disposed of.
One particularly sad bottle was cleverly repurposed as a home for dinosaurs.
This experiment has generated a new hypothesis for the dinosaur extinction. Maybe it wasn't a meteor but instead suffication by plant that did those dinos in.

That's a great use for fun glassware!
