Europe: The Excursions: Barga

There were several excursions organized by the conference. The first one was a walk to the nearby town of Barga. This was at the end of the session just for trainees (graduate students and post docs). We were all feeling quite accomplished after a full day of science and excited to make new friends. We walked through the beautiful Italian countryside
