Last night I went to a symphony concert at Emory. They performed the overture from Barber of Seville and the main done from the firebird ballet. Based on a recent retelling of the firebird story, I was expecting there to be wolves and horses with golden manes. Instead I got villas and oboes. So not bad, but less exciting than it could have been. The music was nice with some intense parts. I particularly liked watching the guy play the triangle at the climax. It was fun to go see a concert. But it could have been improved by including at least one wolf.

Disappointing. At least the concert hall looks so beautiful.
