You will remember last year I made a brain cake for Halloween. It was a great success, so much so that people requested that I make it again for the ward party. Gabby, one of the Emory undergrads and a neuroscience major, came over to help. We improved on last year's model by making the brainy bits out of orange flavored marshmallow fondant, much more delicious and easier to chew than last year's caramel. It also had the added bonus of being a more life like color. Once again the cake was a wild success and once again, we were the only ones to eat it.
